Trouble sleeping?

I just found out I'm pregnant and have had trouble sleeping at night. Has this happened to anyone early on?

  • Yes :) Insomnia is common in early pregnancy, and unfortunately, it just worsens the fatigue that we already feel. Try getting some exercise, like a walk, before bedtime, then take a soothing warm (but not too hot!) bath with lavender. That should help a bit. Also, some people find that reading helps them fall asleep at a reasonable time.

  • When the baby starts kicking at night I can't sleep. I start reading a book then I can go to sleep.
