Me and my 4 1/2yo (5 in April) were having leftover tacos for lunch today. I make them a little spicy, throwing in some chipolte powder. Not enough that my other kids won't eat it. Usually I use refried beans with jalepenos or chipoltes in them but didn't have any.
Anyway, I made up her taco and she got all upset because I forgot her "special" cheese. I found this jalepeno cheese spread at a store and got it to spread on crackers for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now it's her special cheese. She loves it so much. The other kids think it's way too spicy (it gets a little hot when you get a huge glob of jalepenos).
She just cracks me up. Last week she made a special sandwich with this spread, American cheese slices, mayo and mustard on wheat bread (probably would have been on a bagel if she had seen them in there).

I WISH! You would think they would since they came out the belly of a Hispanic mama who is all about the spicy hot stuff lol. They don't really like spicy things like salsa, peppers & such but I'm hoping they will grow out of it.
