What did your mother teach you, that you are still grateful for to this day?

She taught me to be hardworking and that to get what you want you have to work hard and sacrifice for it, be it a job or your family.

  • teachernever depend 100% financially on a man because anything could happen and you could get stuck in an abusive relationship with no way out. it doesn't matter if he makes more money than you, just make sure you have your own money/ nest egg.

  • my mother's behavior towards 'getting past it' and 'staying together' with your abuser taught me that it's a load of crap and to never take that kind of treatment from anyone.

and for that I will be ETERNALLY grateful!

  • People will talk about you all the days of your life, people who praise u one day are jusr as quick to condem u the next. Heck it happened to Jesus, came in to Praise Hosana one day the next they scream crucify him.
