my child was suspended and someone called and told someone we dont even know, isnt this illegal?

  • Yes that is wrong. Even if your child was the victim they aren't supposed to tell you how the child was disciplined. I know kids talk though so if you live in a small town word gets around.

  • I don`t know for sure, but I think it is illegal. It definitley infringes on privacy rights

  • I would need more details but I would say no. Your child doesn't really have many rights at school. Just like they can have their locker searched or their backpack searched.
