  • I would never do hardwood in the kitchen. I have porcelain tile in my kitchen and bathrooms; hardwood throughout the rest of the house.

  • Hardwood. We have it now and it's wonderful. It doesn't get cold like tile can, and it cleans up like a dream. The key is to have it sealed really well.
