  • They are edited to make them more interesting. And I wouldn't be surprising if there is some encouragement toward a certain action, but not enough that the players would say "but they told me to do that."

  • Im sure they tell them to act outrageous - the more drama the higher the ratings. I dont care for them personally.

  • I did a term paper on them and was able to prove using marketing tools that American Idol is predetermined. The only real one out there was Amazing Race. All the others had predetermined winners.
