I made a lemon Meringue Pie using Alton Brown's recipe from the food network website. Everything was going great & Smelled & looked great. We weren't able to eat it right away & my husband wanted it cold so it sat in the fridge for a day. When we went to cut into it the meringue was a little rubbery & the custard part was all runny.
What did I do wrong?? How can I fix it? Is it just because it sat in the fridge for a day?
