  • You need light Karo. Just give him a table spoon in a cup of juice or milk.

  • Not the best route!!! Have you tried apple juice or prune juice or leafy green veggies yet?? Karo syrup is not the best way to approach this!

  • yes msicpisces i have tried everything. we even had to do suppositories a few times now. dr had me to do those and liquid magnesium. It helps a lil bit but doesn't keep him regular. we do feed him his green veggies too. and i even give him fiber gummies. Nothing has helped.

  • You know. I don't know. I was always told to give the light. I just saw on a website that it's a teaspoon, not a tablespoon. But I think prune juice would work better. Good luck!

  • Have you tried Miralax? My niece had to use that for a while. She always has problems with constipation. She drinks prune juice on a regular basis.

  • My doctor gave me the advice to give him 2 teaspoons in water or milk..my son had really bad constipation, and when he would poop it would be so hard it would be streaked with blood, so I had to try what i could. And yeah like all the other suggestions Light is best. Do you give him water along? And fruit...Good luck
