Have you had stores refuse to accept computer printed coupons?

Home Depot did for me the other day.

  • I was at macys yesterday and the barcode on the coupon I printed was so small. They tried to use it and couldnt get it to work and found one and used and gave it to me to use for the day.

  • A few stores refuse to take them, simply because some people abuse it and print dozens of them....there are also counterfiet coupons for free items that come in printed from online form....I constantly see flyers hanging at save-A-Lot warning cashiers of specific counterfiet coupons from the "internet"

  • None of our area stores will take them anymore. The stores were loosing money and so it's easier for them to stop taking them all together. Don't blame your store, blame the people who cheat the system and ruin it for everyone else.

  • The only time I've ever had a problem was when I took some to Walmart; however, they weren't consistent either. I've had them accept the coupons before as well. I guess it just depends who you get. =/

  • I've had it happen once. Turns out is was a fake coupon anyway. Woops. Now we're very careful about where we get our coupons from.

  • Lots of stores turn them down, especially the BOGO and anything over $1.00
