  • Yes, but I would monitor his/her friends list every now and then. I would message people that I dont know and ask how they know my child and if they are aware of his/her age.

  • Yes I did, but what finally made me ok it was two of her close friends moved out of state. She is able to keep up with them as well as all her other friends who are on fb. I keep pretty close tabs on what goes on on her page.

  • Yes, I have an 11 year old who has one. She uses it to communicate with her friends, who also have them. When she hit middle school we allowed her get one, but the only adults she is allowed to friend are me and her dad and a few "approved" adults (a teacher, a girl scout leader and a friend's mom).

  • HELL no

  • Nope!! I am still uneasy with my 14 yr old sister having one. There are too many creeps out there and children often try to be sneaky. I miss when facebook was only for college students and then didnt mind when it added the working people network and now I see young kids and the myspace madness that I thought I avoided when I didnt have an account.

  • Nope. Facebook doesn't let kids have accounts. I'm not going to get between FB and their bizarre rules. You could get banned for the rest of time.
