How many ladies have NEVER been on a real vaction before??

My ss asked me the other day if we ever had a vaction and i said what is that....

  • I've never been on vacation, always working and taking care of my kiddies. Maybe one day when their older I'll find out what that thing ppl call a vacation it.

  • Aw, that's a bummer. You should at least take off for a weekend. We have taken longer trips to Mexico and Las Vegas (before we moved here), but these days it's not very convenient. We take short, frequent trips to CA because it's close and fun.

  • we have done stuff....but i dont feel like we have taken a REAL vacation...just our family going where we want too. Doing what we want. Yeah i cant wait for that to happen!

  • I tag along with hubby for business conventions and it's a vacation for me - he's gone to the conference all day and the kids stay with grandma. Last year we took the kids to Washington DC for a vacation, but for me family vacations are super stressful - spending all of that time in the car with kids who don't want to be together in the car - no fun. LOL

  • Everybody has their own version of a "real vacation". I consider a weekend away like that, a real vacation.
