What do you do when you have a headache?

  • Depends on what kinda headache u have. When I get a sinus headache I found ther Aleve sinus headache works real well, anmd u only have to take 1, or just a headache I might take a advil make some coffee or take a nice hot shower abd let the water hit my neck and head and ther massage setting. I get tension headaches alot and I make my DH massage my neck and shoulders, feels GREAT!!

  • I try to alleviate it w/o medication. I'll relax my shoulder muscles, stretch my neck, take deep breaths. I'll drink extra water. Sometimes I lay down with ice on my forehead or back of next.

    Then...Excedrin! ;)

  • It happens so rarely, usually what I do is suffer for hours and hours then mention it to a friend who says something cheeky like 'tylenol?'

    I do notice that suddenly cutting way back on caffeine intake, and dehydration both cause headaches...

  • Drink as much water as I can, take a BC Powder (at the drugstore) or muscle relaxer and have coffee (caffeine). If it's a migraine, I take Imitrex.

  • I take excedrin and wait for that to kick in. If it is a bad headache then I will either go back to bed and try to sleep it off (works best if the room is cold and dark), or take a hot relaxing bath and hope that will get rid of it.
