  • Depends.. Our family has to REALLY know the other family. We started sleepovers with people from church about 8 yrs old.

  • Yea, 2 is really young, I'd say at least school age, and positively know the families. I had neighbors that I let the DD sleep here, but would NOT let mine sleep over at her house. I just had a bad feeling about them and didn't know why, well wasn't he molesting his nieces. Follow your Motherly instincts ladies, and be sure of who & where your kids sleep over.

  • My personal rule is that they can sleep over somewhere when they're old enough to ask and can call if they want to come home (this includes family). My husband calls me overprotective, and I know some people have no problems letting their kids spend the night with a grandparent or friend of the family, but that's just me. And it won't stop me from letting their friends stay over here if it's ok with the other parents.

  • every kid is different. It would strongly depend on the parents and our relationship. prolly at least not til 5 or 6 but im ok with other kids staing with me as long as the parents are comfortable and the kid doesnt misbehave. I have a friend with a 6 yr old and my son is almost 3... I would NEVER let him sta becasue he is sneaky and tries to get my son to do things he shouldnt.

  • my daughter is 6 and has never had one..but lately shes been asking to..i just keep putting it off.."one day.." if the friend stays here, i have no problem with it..but i dont want her going anywhere...because im really not that comfortable with the other kids' parents..and also, cuz my daughter sometimes pees her bed still..and..i know if she did that at a friends house, she would feel super embarrased!!

  • My 8 year old step daughter has just started. She has a lot of fun. But then again, any house is safer than her mothers house, seriously.
