How can the first answer not be the truth in the Tuscon shootings?

What are your feelings about the Tuscon shootings?

* Political discourse and strong rhetoric in the country added to the rage of a mentally disturbed man and was a contributing factor in the shooting.: 15.5% (36 votes)
* Politicians and pundits were out of bounds to turn the shooting into a political point.: 45.1% (105 votes)
* It just goes to show that more gun control is needed.: 6.0% (14 votes)
* Enough already. Let the victims and their families mourn, recover and rest in peace.: 33.5% (78 votes)

Truthfully, we all know what's been said about Obama on Cafemom alone, but then something like this happens because there is so much hatred out there being spread around and then what? THEY deny it? How can anyone deny the truth? We can go back through these questions alone and find many, many ladies spreading hatred.

This is just a small poll in a local newspaper.

  • if the first one was the answer then these things have been happening since the dawn of time. i don't even know if this is the worst time in political history truthfully. wasn't it worse in the 70's with riots and such. i mean this has always been happening and even presidents have been shot so we need to just learn from it. he was mentally ill and yes its a tragic but why use it to gain votes. let them grieve and only blame the gun man not anything or anyone else.
