Has any other mom dealt with a hypospadia repair on their BB?

My 8 month old BB just had a hypospadia repair done this past Monday. He's lost his appetite and is not sleeping through the night. Also, when he takes naps during the day, he doesn't like sleeping in his bed, just wants to be held all the time. Is this normal for such an extensive surgery for a little one? Will his appetite come back and will he start sleeping through the night again? Or will we have to re-train him on everything? Yes, we (well, mainly I) did baby him this past week, but he needed that comfort because of everything he went through.
If anyone has any advice on this matter, whether positive or negative, please HELP ME!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • LOL Ohh, makes sense. I'm sure things will get back to normal for your little guy. He's been thru a lot and I am sure he needs the extra loving!! Do what feels right. you can never really spoil a child if they are looking for comfort. If you are worried about his appitite please call his doc!!
