Protein and Pregnancy

I'm 28 wks along and was told to get between 80 and 100 grams of protein daily. Blood Pressure isn't bad now, but it will be if I don't take some action...

Does anyone know if Protein Bars and Protein Powder (either Soy or Whey) can do the trick? (I'm hoping to supplement the many tuna fish sandwiches and bean soups I'm forcing myself to ingest!)

Thanks!

  • peanuts are a great sourse of protien along with eggs. I wouldnt eat any of those protien shakes or powders with out asking your OB first as most of them tell you they are not for pregnant women. So double check with your OB first.
