  • Less sacred------ no maybe just misunderstood
more skepticism--- not even close, I see people with more and more excuses as to what not to defend the truth, and they will give you 1,000 reasons to keep clear in their mind until they get another excuse that fits that day.
so not they aren't skeptics, someplace in the course of life people have replaced God with being stuck with mundane, or just giving into crowds, following, adopting to join other things by pressure and not fitting in, and seeing this as ''more acceptable.''
Less engagement--- as long as society will be society, some groups / sects/ even husbands not being leaders, are just allowing the world to take over . As long as someone else can just have things done easier or a group is more ''fun'', if men aren't needed to (lazy men) stand up for the rules and beliefs in God over his own family, society sadly will find a nice envelope to stick that family into.

  • Lazy minded crowds scattered and that is what started sodom and gomorrah.
Lets just all let the standards of this world take over first, and see what will come of it.
Gee if we all let things go and nobody is accountable to God, maybe He'll do something like that flood thing again.

  • Less accurate----- YES more times than not it's interpreted into a wide broad acceptable form so nobody is accountable to the truth, and that way no one has to be saying or defending the real bible. ex-) ''why should I use the bible when I've got this crystal ball, and the lottery is so much more fun, and exiting, God will let me win because he is so much like Santa and Easter bunny!!! Well, it's true, so why should anyone be accountable to the real truth when we can skip around, and just live like their is no tommorrow. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The problem is many think that they can just read the Bible and understand or interpret it. Also they try to read it linear and get confused. You need to be guided. Either a bible study class or read the Church Fathers to understand it. It also helps if you read the daily readings and use a Bible with footnotes that explain things and also cross reference other verses.

  • People who need it for some reason, it will serve a purpose, but for those that don't have that void to fill, they will not need it.

This sounds like people who appreciate a religion that stood their ancestors for hundreds, maybe thousands of years are  "stuck behind" until they can finally free themselves of such baggage.

I'm not so sure that's an accurate description and maybe a bit arrogant. JMO

  • The Bible is true , it tells us everything we need to know. Some people just dont like the facts & it will just get worse like the bible says. This world is so ungodly.
Just read the bible & see for yourselves.
