2 Bumps

WYR not be able to taste or smell?

I could do without taste. Maybe food would become so boring, that I finally get those pounds off my hips. lol

  • Taste. I agree. Because even when you are eating, being able to smell the food you can imagine what it tastes like, but if you can't smell, then your food still won't taste right. Try holding your nose and eating something, it's not the same. But I LOVE good smelling stuff like candles, food cooking, bath items, cologne/perfume, etc so I don't know what I would do with out smell haha.

  • I'd give up taste. Smell is a powerful alarm for danger, gas leaks for example. Or food too far gone. Or a stranger with BO and bad breath trying to sneak up behind you. lol

  • I'd get rid of smells. Lots of smells do not smell good. I'm sick right now and can not smell so my husband has to check for poopy diapers lol. Plus I know what would taste good or bad so I would be more likely to have pleasant experiences.

  • Actually, smell and taste are so intertwined, if you lost one sense, you would probably lose the other. But if I had to lose one and wouldn't lose the other, I'd give up taste. Then maybe I'd eat my vegetables, haha.
