  • This is what I find amusing. The Mayan calendar was written on a big stone... there is only so much room on a stone to write. At some point they were going to run out of room on the dang stone... it is a STONE.  How do we know the calendar didnt end simply because there was no more room???

  • I doubt it. I highly doubt that our creator is linking the end of the world to a specific year.

  • no i dont think its going to END but i do think it might change the way people live their lives. Some day im sure the world will end maybe it wll be 2012 who knows but i doubt it.

  • No it was on the news not long ago we did the math wrong when translating the Mayan calender.

    I am glad really. My teens and 22 yr old dd were always talking about it being the end of the world. Now maybe they can relax.

  • No, I'm sure things will go just as they have been. There have been years pulled out by "experts" for years when the world would end, yet we're all still here. I think we're all going to eat ourselves to death, however, at some point.
