  • "I am not arrogant enough to believe that after one year as governor of New Jersey" as well as time serving as state attorney general, "I am ready to be president of the United States," Christie said.

Christie added: "I don't think you run just because the political opportunity is there."

    Wow, that's a breath of fresh air.  I wish . . . . oh nevermind.  Too late.

  • That's the whole problem - nobody who is qualified to do the job ever wants to take the job.

  • I agree that those qualified, with the experience and funding needed would never want the job-

It is, but an inexperienced politician is nothing more than a special interest puppet... Example~Look at our current president... I saw Christies comment as a slap in obama's general direction. Kudos to him. Slow and steady wins the race.

  • He has said that he feels he needs more experience.

    That IS refreshing.
I've liked Christie for a while.

    I'm fond of no-nonsense.
Just say what it is and that's it.
    Very easy.

He and Michelle Rhee would make an excellent Republican ticket four years from now.
That would be something to get excited about.

  • I sincerely HOPE he CHANGES his mind!! He is EXACTLY what this country needs!!!

I also hope is really is going to run in 2012...but stay under the radar until the last minute--you know, so the libs waste all of their time and energy lambasting the ones who are being used as a DISTRACTION!!!

    That would be awesome!! :o)
