Sugar free pudding MIX. Do the carbs come from the mix or the milk you add?

Says 8 carbs on the box but I'm wondering if that's from the non-fat milk you are supposed to mix with it. I am going to use Almond milk, which has 1net carb, instead.

  • If you add the almond milk it will have 9 carbs

  • Hmm... my sugar-free pudding mix has nutritional info for both (mix only and made w/ fat-free milk). There should be SOME carb content from the thickening agent, depending on what it uses, probably corn starch.

  • probably bth. or possibly jut the mix, & its not even including the carbs from the milk because some people might use skim milk , other whole, or 2%

  • Here's the simple way to find out: milk has protein in it --if there is a protein content listed on the box, it's including the milk. If not, it's without the milk.
