What does mucus in my baby's poop mean? adult content

My son is 2 months old, and breastfed. He has had mucus in his poop from time to time, but it was just a little bit, but for the past two days it is a lot. Not to be gross but it looks like someone blew their nose in his diaper. There is no blood and it is not green. What could be causing this?

  • He has his two month check up this week. I'll ask then. He isn't running a fever, and he isn't puking or overly crabby.
