I need a no-fuss menu for my son's Hawaiian birthday party.

By no-fuss, I mean little cook time on the day of the event.

  • Pulled Pork Sandwiches on Sweet Hawaaiin Rolls
(Throw a pork roast in a crock pot for 10 hours on low, let it cool, pull meat apart with two forks, mix in a BBQ sauce and serve out of cleaned up crock pot on warm. We just did this for my daughters birthday and it was a hit.)

Carrot salad with raisins and bits of Pineapple
Fresh Fruit Platter or Jello Salad
    Punch and Cake

  • How about white rice and teriyaki chicken skewers or teriyaki chicken thighs. Make a bowl of mac salad and that should be good enough for the for appitizers, not sure.

  • Yep, Kabobs and rice would be fun and easy! For dessert, a pineapple upside down cake would be fun!

  • Fresh fruit was the first thing that came to mind. You could either cut up fruit & make dips to place on a tray or place the fruit on skewers. You can always just order a fruit tray too. Some type of chicken would be good too. How about some Hawaiian Punch for the drinks?
