  • if you are breast feeding, cause idk about FF, then you don't let her cio. Go and feed her. Breast milk metabolizes very fast so babies get hungry more often.

  • Most babies I know have fed at night for the first 1-2 years... 7 months is definitely too young to forcibly cut out night feedings. I still eat at night sometimes!

  • My daughter had a nighttime feeding until SHE started sleeping thru the night at 8.5 months of age. I would never deny my child a feeding.

  • From my personal experience none of my kids stopped a nighttime feeding until they were almost or right at a year old. One was a little sooner..one was almost 16 months. 7 months seems way, way too soon. BF babies will get hungrier sooner than FF babies as a rule.

  • I guess I feel lucky then cause my dd stopped night feeding at 6 weeks. Good luck mama I hope its not too much longer for you.

  • At that age, you can try other methods of soothing baby back to sleep if you like, but if they fail, then go ahead and feed them.

  • Wow...6 weeks. What a lucky mom you are Sweetpea. I would have loved for any of mine to sleep through the night by the time they were 6 MONTHS..lol.

  • Please don't leave baby to CIO, she still needs a feeding during the night.i don't know why some people think it is okay to meet your kids needs during the day, but it is okay to leave them alone to cry during the night.

  • I would first try other methods of soothing such as rocking or a pacifier. If that didn't work, then by all means, feed the baby. At 7 months, she could be going through a growth spurt or teething or any number of things and need to eat or to be comforted.
