what will help prevent stretch marks and or reduce the apperance?

  • Ive always been told that there really isnt anyway to avoid them if your gonna get them. I only got one on each boob(lol) and I used lotion regularly. Now they have faded to almost nothing. If you are meant to get them then theres really no SURE way to avoid or get rid of them :(

    THEY APPARENTLY ARE INEVITABLE.

  • i used palmers coco butter specifically for stretch marks and it worked great. i didn't get any stretch marks

  • If your prone to stretch marks your probably gonna get them. Use a cream to keep them from itching and if you get them you just have to deal with them.

  • First of all, ask every female in your family if they have stretch marks. If they say yes...sorry, but you're going to get them no matter how much cocoa butter and vitamin E oil you slather on your belly. They're genetic and there's nothing you can do to avoid them.

    But cocoa butter and vitamin E oil might just make them not appear so severe :D

  • I had 5 pregnacies and I have no stretch marks, I always used skin so soft body oil from avon during my pregnacies. Rubbed it on all over stomach, thighs, and hips. I am also a size 3.

  • I am 34 weeks pregnant and when i found out I was pregnant I started using bio oil...I haven't gotten one stretch mark...it works great!!! It even helps deminish old stretch marks if you have some...try it...it works...you can get it at walgreens, cvs or any kind of drug store chain...good luck and god bless...
