When someone else's child does or says something to you that you know is wrong

and their parent corrects it and apologizes and/or has the child apologize....

do you say, "Oh, it's okay."

  • i'd probably say "don't worry about it." what else is there really to say, espcially if it's a young child.

  • yeah... kids sometime and most the time say things that they are not suppose to but if correct then i always blow it off.

  • yes i have a sil who will litterally correct the child in front of you, after the child has been corrected by the mother, its kinda annoying when she does that.

  • It depends on what it is. If it's something little I'll probably say something to that extent. If it's bigger and it's the child apologizing I'll say something more along the lines of, "thank you for apologizing" or something like that.

  • I do. I'm also appreciatetive that the parent teaches the child what is wrong and what is right also.
