  • while I would much much rather live with my children, I would hate to place that burden on them, so I would rather live in the nursing home

  • Live with my daughter. I'd never agree to live in a nursing home... under ANY condition. My grandpa was murdered in one from neglect. They're not a safe place to be IMO and they just harbor death. She better be ready for me when I become elderly! =)

  • If i am in my right mind, but just not able to stay by myself, & do for my self. I would want to live with one of my children. BUT, if i am struck with that Alzheimers or Dementia and am not in my right mind and doing all kinds of crazy things, then i would rather be in a nursing home and not a a burden on my children, but if they ever have to put me in a home, they better choose a good one & come see me often.

  • assisted living if im active. a nursing home if i was unable to care for myself. would not want to burden my kids.

  • i agree i would not want to burden my kids if i needed my diaper changed or to be fed... i wouldnt want hem to see me like that

  • assisted living place. maybe recover at the kids house but not burden them
