  • The first time I heard Darius Rucker on the radio, my first thought was that sounds like Hootie! I'm just happy to hear him again. Which one I prefer depends on my mood. Hootie makes me feel young again, and Darius makes me feel happy about where I am now. It's all good!

  • I liked Hootie, but Darius Rucker seems to have grown musically by being a solo artist. He has quite a bit of talent!

  • I agree with Scuba, as a solo artist, Darius Rucker seems to have really grown. He has a great voice and is really making a name for himself other than Hootie.

  • i'll admit it..i'm a H&B fan..their debut holds great memories for me, as it was our road trip CD for our first trip to Florida by my lil' sister and i...we stayed for 2 weeks, loving up the sunshine and sand and single guys...we did this for the next three summers, until she ruined it by getting married. ahhh...yep, i always think of that first trip when i hear H&B.
now, i might listen to DR alone, if he sang a different genre.
