Madeira cake?

I'm not sure that's exactly what it's called, but it's what I always call it. You use yellow cake mix and like 1/3 c. Madeira (wine). I've lost my recipe (I think I showed it to someone and maybe they thought I meant to give it to them...) I cannot recall how many eggs and how much oil, etc. to use or how long to bake it at what temp. Can you help me?

  • I had never heard of this cake before so went to google and put in Madeira cake with yellow cake and there it was! Looks very interesting. If it's the recipe you used to make, it calls for 4 eggs, 3/4 c oil, 3/4 c wine, some french vanilla pudding, poppy seeds - sounds yummy. Check google.
