With friends like these...

I have a friend who has friends who ask her if she's pregnant (she's not). She tells them she isn't and they then tell her she is fat.. she isn't obese! I care for my friend and wonder why people go out of their way to tell a person something like that.

  • no idea why people do that. I NEVER ask anyone if they are pregnant, either way it's none of my business.
I have a bad bloating problem that makes me bloat out to where I look like I'm at least 6 months pregnant.
I just go with it, If I get offered seats on the train, I thank the and take the seat.

I've only been asked once by a snooty guy (pretty sure he'd been drinking) he said something like 'man, you're big, when are you due?'
I looked him up and down and told him 'by the looks of things, I'd say long after you are!'
after I got married I had a tubal ligation mostly for health reasons. Everyone&their brother was on my asking when I'd be getting pregnant again, telling me that my life would not start until I did.
I finally got sick of it, faked a sad look and said 'well, I'm sterile'
made that know it all woman cry! served her right.
