what are your thoughts on euthanasia?

I really think that if the person that is suffering wants to die why not giving them the option.

  • I'd like to see it a legal option but heavily HEAVILY regulated ...... if you can abort a fetus legally why can't you chose your own fate as well

  • I fully support legalisation under strict guidelines.

  • I tend to agree it should be a medical option. My FIL is dying of cancer and just wants to be done and he has to suffer for who knows how long they said maybe a month.

Yet if its a pet the humane thing is to put them out of their misery.

  • I think it should be a legally available option.

  • I pray that if I'm to far gone to properly care for myself, that my family and the law would have enough respect for me to let me go with at least a little dignity! I'm all for it! You don't make your dog suffer, why would you make mom suffer? Do we love our pets more than our family?

  • YES. To me it is the same as having a living will.

  • I think if they are completely lucid and mentally stable, and they simply do not want to be in pain any more, or be dependent upon others, yes, they should be able to make that choice.
