  • My chiropractor works from home, I know 2 home-based accountants, a photographer --no, 2-- with studios in their homes, a naturopath, 2 traditional chinese medicine practicianers, several home-care workers who have their offices at home, as well as probably 150 builders, contractors, plumbers, welders, masons, electricians and artists who work from home.

What do you do for money?

  • taking in another child. I did Avon and so did my aunt. If you are not out there and have lot of clients you don't make anything at all.

  • Do you have a former employer you could work for remotely?
You can search for jobs that match you skill set and have a telecommute option.
If you have a computer with high speed internet & Microsoft Office Pro & have at least intermediate MS Office skills, you should be able to find work as a virtual assistant (VA). For more information, go to,, ..
Do you have a skill or experience that you can turn into a home based business? I have a friend who makes children's hair accessories in her basement & sells them to boutiques around the Midwest. My husband runs a handyman business from our home. I work from home with two lines of business; I do freelance bookkeeping & business organization (along with medical billing), I also do career and job search coaching.

  • Do you have any degrees/experience? When I left corporate America to have children~ I started making cold calls for those looking for consultant work in my trade/profession. 7 years later, I have built 2 successful at home ventures. It's about marketing your education/experiences and focusing on innovative solutions for other companies...

  • I work from home as a Juice Plus Rep.
Juice Plus is 17 different fruits and veggies in a capsule or a soft chew. It's a very simple way to help people improve nutritional needs to stay healthy. Kids love the soft-chew (everyone does really) and our children's health study lets you get an order of Juice PLus for your kids for free when an adult places an order. It's easy to share with others as the subject of health comes up all the time and so easy to do a short presentation for a PTA or sports league.
Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more about Juice Plus or our business opportunities.
