Why do my joints pop when I exercise?

I've been an off and on exerciser for a few years. This time I've really noticed my joints popping when I move them. Wrist, Elbows, Shoulders, sometimes even hips.

  • it's like bubble wrap..... it's air escaping audibly. Depending on who you ask, it may or may not be a pre-cursor to arthritis in that area.

  • Excess FLUID in the joints causes the popping sound....the pop is the fluid escaping when pressure is applied. =)
