When is the mucas plug supposed to come out, and what does it look like?

  • It is supposed to come out before the baby comes out! :D

    Really! It can come out weeks before the baby(for some even months and the body can regenerate it) or just minutes before the baby is born.

    It looks like snot jello.

  • sometimes its does not come out but if it does it would look like mucusy like snot.

  • With my first two never saw it. Even when in labor. It can come out at anytime and it looks like snotty jello. But it regenerates itself.

  • I believe it can come out up to two weeks before labor. Most people don't really notice it cause you have to go to the bathroom so much. Mine came out about a week before I had the baby. I had an induction so theres no way to tell when I would have went into labor.

  • tissue and just depends on how much comes out at a time. Mine was really noticable.
