Would you be annoyed if your 5 or 6 YO child was invited to a birthday party at say, 5 or 6 pm on a Friday night?

  • No, I wouldn't be annoyed. It is a weekend evening, no school the next day, you're serving dinner - sounds really nice!

I'd much rather go to a party on a Friday evening than say Saturday afternoon at 3 PM. It is considerate of you to think of other parents & their schedules!

  • No as long as the party ended at a decent hour, who cares.

  • I would make it 6 so that working parents would have time to get their kiddos and come, but since you are serving dinner they should be grateful, not offended.

  • The party is about 1.5-2 hours (max) long and pizza will be served to both the kids and adults.

  • No, it's hard to find any time that works for everybody- most parties are on the weekend.

  • I was considering having my daughter's party at this time, but was worried that since its a work day, some parents might be put off.
