  • Salt and pepper your chicken. Add 1 c of Bisquick to a brown paper bag and add chicken 1-2 pieces at a time to shake and coat.

Preheat the oven to 350. Melt 2 tbsp butter on a cookie sheet in the oven. When it's melted, add your coated chicken and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or so until the juices run clear (cooking time depends on size of pieces).

This will taste JUST like fried chicken with half the mess and half the grease/oil in your diet!

  • I don't eat or cook fried food, but i have 2 recipes that look semi promising. The first is from a cookbook called, HELP, my apartment has a kitchen. This is Oven fried Chicken
2 chicken breast halves or 2 thigh leg combinations, 1/2 cup corn flake crumbs or bread crumbs, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/8 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon butter
preheat oven to 375, cover baking sheet in a layer of foil for easy clean-up, trim excess fat or skin from chicken if desired. Combine crumbs, garlic powder, oregano, and paprika in a bag. Put 1 chicken piece in the bag, close the bag and shake a few times. Remove chicken from bag and place on baking sheet, repeat with all pieces. Dot each chicken piece with 1/2 teaspoon of butter. Bake breast for 40 to 45 minutes and thighs/ legs for 50 to 55 minutes. Chicken is done with it gives off a clear, not pink, liquid when pierced with a fork.

  • I just put some salt and pepper and flour in a bag and shake the chicken in it. Then I fry with lots of oil.
