The best thing you can do to relieve pain is reduce the stress in your life. Stress cause hormones to be released (like cortisol) that drive pain. Avoid all stress. It must be a complete lifestyle change geared in favor of your wellness. Choose to be happy and do away with the things that interfere with that goal. Get rid of nasty commercial chemicals in your home; Do not use commercial air fresheners.
From the research I have read reducing stress and a good pain management program is the long range plan. I am sorry if you suffer this.
