What Bible verses are your favorites and why?

mine is in revelations. 7:9-17 because it gives me hope that one day the we will be with the Lord and all our troubles will be over and he will wipe away all our tears.

  • Isaiah 41:13 where it says Do not be afraid, I, God, Yahweh, Jehovah (depending on version), will actually grab hold of your right hand and help you.

    It is very comforting to me.

  • My favorites are Proverbs 22:1 and all of Proverbs 31, both of which I see as goals for myself to strive toward.

    And sometimes, we just have to find a new one that offers the promise we need for today.

  • Phillipians 4:13.... I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

    That and the book of Job helped me to heal after losing my daughter 5 yrs ago.
