another baby cold question...

my baby has had a cold for about 2 days now. but now hes starting to throw up like his whole bottle..

i feed him and he starts to cough alot and all the milk comes up with it hes not running a temp and still seems like hes find only runny nose

is this normal or ok??.. called the doc but couldnt get us in for another 3 days

  • If he doesn't have a temp and he generally looks alright, then I wouldn't worry. Children catch colds often, it only makes them resistant to that type of cold for the next time and they develop antibodies which makes their immune system stronger. :) You can judge by yourself. Upset stomach is a common symptom when babies have a cold, so that's nothing serious. Runny nose is irritating but still not serious. :) He doesn't have a fever, so I am telling you, from experience, it's all good. If he starts having a temp higher than 38C, then first give him some baby paracetamol and then IF it doesn't help the temp going lower, take him to the doctor. But for now, he is just fine. :)

  • DD did that!! ALOT!! Its usually the mucous. Makes it hard to keep it down. GL

  • sounds like a stomach bug, try keeping him more upright while feeding and give him smaller more frequent feeding so his tummy is never 100%full itll help him to not throw up as much :)
