What are some affective treatments or solutions for extra belly skin?

I have had two full term pregnancies. After both, i lost the weight fast but I have this extra skin that wont go down with exersize or anything! It has been over three years since I had my last child and the extra skin still remains. Its embarassing. I am 23 years old and I cant wear a bikini bc of this nasty stomach problem. I know it could be worse, but its frustrating. especially since I am a single mom, and this problem has me so insecure I dont even want to try to date anyone out there.

I even went to get a quote on plastic surgery and it is $6,500 in my area. NO way can I afford that. HELP PLEASE?! has anyone found anything that has helped with this problem?

  • Ifyou are completely fit and toned and eating a healthy diet- that skin may never fully disappear. However continuous exercise may help decrease it. GL.

  • I wished there was some kind of diet/excersize... but if you were like me, I had 2 CSections.... and even remember the tofu/soy diet... it takes a plastic surgeon!!! There are no miracle diets or excersizes for that skin that hangs over or is loose

  • I've seen some mommies who had extra loose, wrinkly like tummy skin and they did an extreme diet and exercise, I mean like they had like 6 packs, but their skin when back. One said that she wore spandex a lot and just continued to do workouts, even after she thought she looked good she kept going because her skin was minimizing. ....so that may be a help?

  • I agree with everyone else. Some people are just different than others and maybe your skin will never go back to normal. My sister had problems with this so she had a tummy tuck after she was done having kids. She is very fit. She exercises regularly and also takes karate and did both with all of her pregnancies. Her belly would just not ever go back to "normal".

  • there really isn't anything you can do to get rid of skin, besides having it cut off...
