we just had a house fire a week ago. Does ne know ne way to get the fire smell out of clothes?

  • when we had a fire the best was was to take them to the dry cleaner and submit the bill to the insurance...so sorry this happened the smell is HORRID

  • use white vinegar to steam the clothes or in the wash. You only need a small amount say a cup in a bath tub full of steaming water, hang the clothes in the steam. If you have a top load washer add 1/2 cup to the final rinse

  • I would wash them with your regular detergent and use some vinegar as your fabric softener.
