Does your work spill into your life outside the workplace?

I'm a software qa person. That means that I am always reading specifications and requirements and making sure that the software I'm testing meets the requirements and specs. I also look for typos and end user problems.
I find that outside of work, I'm always doing this as well. I notice typos a lot, I notice is something is crocked or wrong. I take things very literally, can't help it.
Does this happen to anyone else?

  • When I am teaching, yes it does. I bring a LOT of stuff home to grade. I've made parent calls while driving, and from home at night.
