Here's one for you:

Last night I went to my SO and told him that I was craving chocolate (I am trying to lose weight and it is that time of the month). He told me that I have to push those urges away and compared the craving for chocolate to the craving of nicotine.

I think he is crazy. Smokers are addicted to nicotine and chocolate is not an addiction, but sure makes us feel better.

Just thought I would put this one out there.

  • He's kind of right. It's about the willpower to say no. Foods can be addictions to some people.

don't know how to make it clicky, but new studies are showing you CAN be addicted and when you eat chocolate, it triggers the same area in your brain as it does for drug addicts when they have cocaine
