your computer/office chair: how long have you had it?

we seem to be going thru a ridiculous amt. of them.... I am fairly sure the kids are taking rides on them when I'm not in the room. Getting annoyed, the level that controls the up/down is now under the computer. Hmmm

  • 3 yrs. We bought it used but it's still working for us. Ours don't have the up and down thing though.

  • Do not have kids at home anymore. My has been with me for 3 years I think. My old one I took the arms and back off and use it as a stool.

  • As long as I can remember. It's an antique.

  • We got ours from Staples last year. Up until that time, I had used one I found at a garage sale. It was so ugly, but it worked and I couldn't bare the thought of paying for a new one. Funny thing is, the minute we sat that old chair out at the curb, someone picked it up. It's still being used!! LOL! Anyway, we found one marked down at Staples and bought it. It's okay, but I still liked that old chair. Ahhhhhh.... my chair. Good memories.

  • I've had mine almost 9 years now and it's in good shape. Makes a squeaky noise when you sit or get up, but that's it.
