  • its form of b/c that they insert up into your cervic and it sits up at the top and is good for up to 5 years.

  • They go through your cervix, but it actually located in your uterus.

  • I have it and love it! You don't need to worry about missing a pill, hormones, shots, ect......
    I cramped the first day and am due in the next 2 years to get a new one. You can receive the IUD with chemicals with shorten your period and last up to 5 years or get the IUD with no chemicals which last to 8 years. I have the one with no chemicals on it and have normal periods. It's the copper that does all the work!.
