Have you ever used honey for a pimple?

Did it work (for clearing it up)? I tried it a few times, but no luck.

  • No, but I've used toothpaste. It works. It is't magically gone the next day but it is dried out over night.

  • No I haven't, I don't think it would work for me either. I recently heard that crisco can help clear up a pimple?? I dont know, I haven't tried that one either.

  • Nope, I prefer honey on my toast and in my tea.

  • No I have not used honey for a pimple, but if I did I would start to breakout all over my face. If I try home remedies for my face I would breakout even more. My face is very sensitive and I just have to be more carefully about what I put on my face. But good luck!

  • Toothpaste works for me, too, but it dries my skin out all around the pimple, too. Honey supposedly works because it's antibacterial or something. I read it on a makeup website a while back, or maybe a magazine. Not sure now lol.
