How do braxton hix differ from regular contractions when it comes to pain?

Alright I'm 38 wks, my bhc's would just tighten my tummy, but my back is starting to have issues now.

I've had contractions every 1 to 2 minutes for 2 weeks now, the ER says they don't want to see you unless they are the contractions that you can't breath through...well I aparently can take some pain, cause only 1 in 10 actually are painful.

  • Real contractions come on more strong and are more consistent.

  • When I had dialating contractions, I couldn't talk, they took my breath away, and got really strong. I had painful braxton hicks contractions, but these were different.
