  • Yes of course. Anorexic is not healthy. Your body needs a certain amount of fat to be healthy.

  • Definitely! You can be super skinny and not be healthy at all.

  • I think someone's doctor would let them know if they felt their patient were getting to be underweight.

  • Yes, you can be skinny but not healthy. Some women are prone to being skinny so they can eat everything that is not healthy vs a woman who is slightly overweight, who eats nothing but healthy food is actually healthier than the skinny one.

Our society has a warped image of what is healthy....anorexic and bulemic models that are super thin that are in no way healthy seems to be what they want girls to grow up to be.

  • Yes, absolutely. There are women who are skinny because they don't overeat, but the foods they eat aren't healthy, and they don't workout. Hence the term "Skinnyfat."
Sadly, American society has this misconception that a skinny person is healthier than someone who might be thicker but more fit.

  • Yes. Being skinny doesn't mean someone is healthy..in fact, unless it's genetic, a lot of skinny people aren't healthy. Not all, of course..but a lot. Being healthy doesn't mean a person has to be a twig and it makes me sad that most things you see in the media imply that.

  • If you are not sick and your doctor feels this is just your body. Don't be concern.
