  • China.

What country has, according to our U.S. state department, "well-documented and continuing abuses of human rights in violation of internationally recognized norms, stemming both from the authorities' intolerance of dissent and the inadequacy of legal safeguards for basic freedoms"?

    China.

  • Depends what you mean by economic freedom. At its simplest , to me it means the freedom to establish a business or to be self-employed, with equal access to capital . And for employees a right to work and freedom from the financial and related risks and hazards of unemployment , which presupposes a right to education and training. On this basis , I believe the Scandinavian countries do better than most .
