Test result came back "equivical?" WTH does that mean?

I had an STD test done two weeks ago b/c my ex was with someone else a couple months ago unprotected. The doc said my test came back negative for ghonorea/clamydia and my blood test came back mostly negative but one part equivical. She said that's neither positive nor negative and I'd need to be retested. Anyone have this happen to them?

I called my ex and he said he got tested too, same time I did, and his result was negative. He blamed my test on me going to a free communtiy health clinic while he paid for his test at a "real" doctor's office.

He said he'd show me a copy of the results if I don't believe him but I'm getting retested anyway. Just wanna know what could make that happen?

  • oh okay.. i don't think i'll be going back to that doctor though. first she looked at my pap test under a microscope and said she didn't see anything wrong but wrote me a perscription anyway (which freaked me out), then when they tried to take blood they had to stab me with the needle three times because my veins "kept moving"
